“Amy and George were the perfect hosts! The campsite was clean and well equipped - everything was prepared and ready for our arrival. The history lesson of the property really set the stage and made us appreciate it even more. They were available and ready to help with anything we needed - a ride down the road, hike / restaurant advice, etc.
The proximity to so many great towns, hiking and the Arrowood/Westwind spots down the road was great.
We're already looking forward to a return visit!”
“In a word,,,incredible. We were expecting to in the middle of nowhere but the location of this site is a perfect balance of isolation and busyness. The amenities were perfect, especially for a larger group. You don't need to worry about bathroom privacy, there is a porti-potty that can even accommodate high-maintenance campers. Cooking was easy but make sure you leave room for some of the food you can find in the surrounding area.
Amy and George were SO accommodating. They made us feel safe and welcome and gave us excellent recommendations for things to do nearby. Can't recommend this place highly enough!!”
“Site was beautiful. George and Amy were fantastic hosts and even gave our three year old a book we have been reading every night since we stayed there. This is my fourth tentrr trip and this was the best equipped site yet. The port-a-potty was a particularly nice touch. The trails cut through the fields were in better shape than my lawn.
The only thing to be aware of (and I was because I saw other people's comments) is that on some Friday nights there is a car racing at a race track at the end of the road. This results in a fair amount of traffic and some noise. Fortunantly, the white noise from the falls drowns most of the noise out. Very minor issue but something to be aware of.

“Our camping experience was so amazing, we loved every minute. Amy and George are incredible, caring, thoughtful hosts and their home and property are spectacular. The kids, dogs, and adults loved swimming in the waterfalls, catching and releasing the crayfish, and the sounds of the falls and creeks. The whole place feels super secluded but yet your near stores if you forget any supplies. The Tentrr tents, decks, chairs, tables, and beds are really nice, we loved how clean everything is. Amy set up the dome tent for us and it was perfect. George helped us move all of our gear to the site with his tractor wagon which made set up and break down super easy. We would definitely recommend staying at Amy and George’s campsite to anyone that loves nature and wants a simple and safe camping experience. One of the best things about camping on George and Amy’s property is that we didn’t need to worry about people driving right next to campsites like we do when we camp at a state park, which makes it safer for the kids and more relaxing for the adults. Definitely recommend walking the paths at the house, the wildflowers and views are beautiful. When our stay was over, everyone agreed that we should book a weekend for next year at Amy and George’s, we loved it so much!”

They went the extra mile to make sure that we were comfortable and had everything we needed, especially when the weather took a turn. The waterfall is beautiful and the sound is very relaxing. The property is very clean and well taken care of. My entire family (including the dog) thoroughly enjoyed every minute of our stay and would highly recommend staying at Amy & George's site.”

“This place is amazing. Amy and George were so friendly and accommodating. In a great area of upstate where there is no shortage of things to do. We had our 5 yr old with us and she absolutely loved swimming in the water. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.”
