“Our camping trip totally exceeded our expectations. Based on others' reviews, we knew we were in good hands with George and Amy. But their hospitality and property was even greater than we could've imagined. The campsite is beyond beautiful. It was also nice how accessible it was - felt far enough away from the road, but was a quick trip to get out/run some errands if necessary. We spent our weekend swimming in the falls and stargazing. We can't wait to return!”
“Amazing campsite and hosts! Great setup with the waterfall and clean portable bathroom. Amy and George were super helpful getting us set up and helping us plan our weekend. You wont find more valuable hosts anywhere! Our dog had a blast in secluded area and water. Definitely worth the trip!”

“Amy and George were amazing hosts! We arrived late at night, and they still led us to the campsite, got us settled in, and told us a short history of the area. It had been raining hard that week so the waterfall was stronger than expected! It was nice to be able to walk through the stream adjacent to the cabin and into the waterfall. The campsite is very secluded, but close enough to the road that it is not a hassle. There are plenty of breweries, wineries, and farmers markets where you can pick your own fruits and vegetables. Hiking in Minnewaska state park was a highlight of our trip. I think that this was Amy and George's first year hosting, but it definitely won't be the last! We'll be back next year.”
“5 star rating! Myself and 8 other friends were first time campers and this couldn’t have been a better set up! Very easy drive from NYC and the tentrr equipment was first class. However, the greatest part of the trip was our host Amy and George. They’re extremely kind, helpful and joyful people. Really a pleasure.”
“Wow! What an amazing experience! My partner and I (and especially our pup) loved our weekend getaway at Amy and George’s site. Though it’s only a short walk from the road, you feel completely isolated. The waterfall blocks out any street noise. We had a great time walking down stream and playing in the water with our dog. The site is close to great breweries and a Cidery. We took a nice walk to Arrowood Brewery thru Amy and George’s property which was lovely. A&G were amazing hosts and made sure we had everything we needed. They even put a doggie igloo on our site for our pup. they even took the time to tell us all the history of the place which has been in George’s family for generations! We will absolutely be planning our trip back next summer!”
“When we first arrived, Amy & George were nothing but polite & offered us anything to make our trip the best it could be. From picking places to eat & places to explore, they had something for anyone to enjoy. They gave us the wonderful background of their camp site which was perfectly placed infront of a beautiful waterfall. They helped bring all of our belongings down & said to call at any time if we ever needed anything from them & they meant it. It poured on us the first night & they offered their house if the rain got out of control & to use their dryer if anything got too wet. As the days went on, they gave us numerous options for lunch/dinner & an adventure inbetween. They gave us some firewood & newspaper to get our fire going & gave some tips to keep it going, too. If I was going to go up there again, I'd love to have them near by for their expertise in the neighboring towns. They were lovely people with a lovely pup named Barney who was a real class act. We couldn't thank them enough for everything they did for us & for letting us in with open arms.”
“Despite mostly wet weather, my wife and I truly enjoyed our stay at the falls. The grounds are beautiful, unique and very well maintained. George & Amy are great hosts and provided us with endless recommendations of things to do in the area. We really enjoyed the hiking and the Arrowwood brewery that are all within minutes of the site. We will definitely be back in the near future.”
