The campsite was wonderful and Amy and George were great hosts. We had 2 families, pitched an extra tent and had a great time swimming on their private waterfall. Fished for crayfish and cooked them on a camp fire! The site is just across the road from their home so they were very accommodating offering plugs to charge phones, water hose, and borrowing growlers for the local brewery. The road is just above the site but the car noise was muffled by the constant roar of the waterfall. It helped that we got a few days of rain beforehand.

We had the most wonderful time at Mill Trail Falls. After a week of rain, the falls were full, beautiful and soothing. Amy and George were amazing hosts. There was a bit of bad weather when we were at the site, but Amy and George checked in on us to make certain that we were fine (which we were). They also took time to give us the lay of the land, including the trails on their fields and the local places to check out. We look forward to our next chance to visit this wonderful place.

Four of us had a great time at Mill Trail Falls. Thank you so much, Amy and George! You are great hosts! The site is absolutely beautiful. The tent was very comfortable and the extra burner on the gas grill came in very handy for the cocoa and coffee drinkers among us. We had fun wading around exploring and enjoying our personal waterfall. Just being there lowered anxiety levels to non-existent. This really is a heavenly spot. Can't wait to go back!

Amy and George went above and beyond to accommodate us throughout our stay and ensure we had a great time. They gave us tons of tips regarding the area, where to go, and the sites to check out. Definitely a great spot and hosts!

Amy & George were very kind. They helped us navigate from the moment we arrived-gave us some great tips on local food and outdoor activities. The site is fantastic with a waterfall and rich history. We liked it so much, we plan on returning! Thank you Amy & George.

Unbelievable campsite with its own private waterfall! Lots of hiking and swimming in the area, but honestly it was hard to leave the soothing sounds and the majestic sight of the waterfall. Our kids had a blast swimming and floating in the creek that is adjacent to the site. We also went biking on the nearby rail trail, and visited the local brewery that is within walking distance. Also, Amy and George are two of the kindest people you'll meet. They took 40 minutes out of their free time to show me the various hiking, hiking and swimming spots in the area so that we could maximize our experience! We will definitely return. This is a completely unique location!!

We spent two nights here and all we could say was that this is an amazing site! Set up right next to a waterfall, it is not the most secluded spot, as it is close to the road but it is set down quite a bit and the sound of the falls drowns out any would be noise. Amy and George were excellent hosts, giving us a free run of the trails on their land which have great views of the Mohonk Mountain House area as well as suggestions of things to do in the area, breweries, Cider mills, hiking trails, race track. They were a wealth of knowledge and their hospitality was outstanding. We took their advise and visited some of their suggestions but it was our own private waterfall that took up most of our attention. We will definitely be back.

We stayed at Amy and George's private campsite for Memorial Day weekend with another family. A&G's hospitality is as great as the grounds which is an old mill powered by the waterfall that has been in G's family for 3 generations. The kids played under the waterfall and waded in the water while the adults were sitting in Adirondack chairs. The kids loved the tube and noodles that A&G prepared for them. Our dog was spoiled by Amy and George while playing with their hound, Barney. That gave us a chance to bike and eat out. So, we went biking on the rail trail and The Walkway Over the Hudson. Had some great meals. Built campfires. Ate too many smores. I had one of the most restful night's sleep I can remember in the Tentrr tent, with the sounds of the waterfall. All appreciated the A&G's installation of a real toilet instead of the Tentrr toilet. Thanks for a great weekend Amy and George.
