We came up in January with temperatures in mid-20s, and didn’t regret it for a moment. The snow covered scene outside of our tent was gorgeous, the seclusion (except for the coyotes howling) perfect, and the property of the old zoo super cool to walk. We had an amazing time. Just a heads up: despite the bed, don’t confuse this with “glamping.” There is no sewer/water, with everything that comes with that, and the small propane heater is of limited value. A final note: campkeeper Shawn is an incredible host and phenomenal person. We hope to see him again - in warmer weather.

My husband, our 2 dogs and myself booked the site for 2 nights after Thanksgiving. It was 30s in the day and 20s and windy during the night. We were all dressed for the weather and the stove gave off a ton of heat for cooking and warmth, and we used the propane heater at night along with lots of layers! The tent was a great size and the bed comfy. The barn allowed for some protection from the wind and storage for all of our food / cooking supplies. The site being fenced in was perfect for the dogs and nice to have a bit of “privacy”. The Zoo provided some great trails to keep us active and definitely lots of conversation pieces on the property. We met the owner the first day and he was super friendly. We didn’t venture past the zoo since it gets dark so early but it sounds like there are other trails and areas to explore nearby. For a weekend getaway it was a great experience, especially in the cold!

We brought our Bulldog Frankie and she LOVED being able to run around and explore the fenced in area. It felt very secluded, but was just a short drive to cute little towns with lots to see and do. There were a couple of ticks, so make sure you prepare ahead of time. It was a little chilly, so be sure to bring extra propane for the provided heater and lots of blankets. It was so cozy! The attached barn was great, and the inn was amazing to be able to grab a hot coffee in the morning. Definitely worth the stay!

Beautiful. Completely secluded, we didn’t see a single person the entire trip. Really fun property with endless places to explore. My boyfriend and I had an amazing time - adventures all day and laying back watching the stars all night. I honestly can’t say enough good things about this property. Clean, safe and exciting. We can’t wait to come back!

I enjoyed my stay at Fido’s Vineyard! It was just my dog and I for two nights. The site itself was really cool. I felt very secure having my dog off leash and able to roam free the entire site. There was a nice grassy area and it was a great amount of space for him to play fetch all day long! The barn that was part of the site was a great size also. Great place to stay out of the rain if needed. I didn’t love that the portable toilet was set up just a few feet from the table, if there were multiple people on the site that would not be ideal. But perhaps it is movable. The tent itself was nice. It rained the morning before I arrived, so things were a bit damp but I feel like that’s unavoidable. The zipper on the tent was slightly broken and didn’t zip completely. There was wood left by the fire pit for me, but because it did rain that morning all the wood was soaked. Maybe for the future an alternate location could be figured out until the camper arrives. I didn’t see or talk to a single person while I was there, staff included. I thought a staff member would be over at some point to check in on things but no one did. I was told to call or text someone if I had any problems, but I had absolutely no service there so that would have been impossible. My dog and I enjoyed exploring the zoo! It was a neat location. He did get two ticks on him. That is no fault to the game farm or the tent service, just if you plan on staying there make sure you are using the proper precautions to prevent ticks. Overall it was a great stay! Very relaxing, and fun! My dog had the time of his life!
