Tentrr is your private camping experience. We connect adventurers like you with private landowners who want to share their land so you can experience new places.
“Everything was great. The grounds were beautiful, hosts were wonderful, and we were given everything we needed.
There was no mobile phone service though, FYI (could be a good thing or bad thing depending on what your looking for)”
“What an incredible site and experience! Peggy and David are amazing hosts, and the tour of the sap house is a real treat - their maple syrup is also divine and they kindly left us some in the tent with pancake mix, which was a lovely surprise! The photos do not do justice to this beautiful site, right next to a creek and with a beautiful open, private field. The bathroom and shower are a welcome touch! All of the extras are what makes this our favorite tentrr experience - including Peggy and David’s attentiveness, local info in the tent, extra grilling tools and equipment, so much firewood, an extra gas grill, badminton or volleyball net, an entire storage container on site full of games and toys, as well as extra tiki torches, canopy for rain and mini lamps. As if that were not enough, there is also solar power on site and fresh spring water accessible by tap next to the tent. I really could go on and on, but it was truly the perfect tentrr experience for all of us, and it was such a pleasure to meet Peggy and David! Nearby, there is so much to do as well - there are a lot of fossils in the area, Mine Kill Falls is lovely, and there are great hikes and other activities nearby (if you even want to leave the site, which is not necessary at all!). We will definitely be back!”
“We loved our time at Bearkill Brook. An absolutely wonderful place for a getaway with friends. Ample space to stretch out and enjoy whatever suited us, from sports and games to relaxing in the creek. Peg and David were generous hosts, really went above and beyond for us to have a comfortable and easy trip. Thanks for a great weekend!”
“We had a wonderful stay. Peg and Dave are delightful hosts - they were very responsive before our trip and accessible to us during our trip. The site is beautiful, we enjoyed spending time in the rec field, it was great that the land was bigger than we expected. The creek was refreshing and a lovely place to bring our camp chairs to put our feet in to cool off. It was much appreciated that there was drinkable water on site as well as a bathroom and shower. Already hoping to plan another trip!”
“This is was our first Tentrr experience and we loved every minute of it. Peg and Dave were so welcoming and helpful. The site is beautiful and we had a wonderful time. Plus, there's a bathroom, firewood, a shower, and running water. What more could you ask for?”
“The site was large and spacious. My large group enjoyed all the space. We loved the fact that there was both a shower and bathroom. There was running water that could also be used to drink water. Our dogs loved running in the open field and the creek was a few steps away. Overall we loved the space we were allowed and the privacy we had. It was a perfect space besides a small inconvenience caused by nature. Peggy met us to show us around the space. They also had a lot of extras for us to utilize such as a very large cooler, volleyball net & left over charcoal.”
“This was a beautiful place! So much land and we had it ourselves. The creek was real nice love hearing the water at night just relaxing. The owners Peggy and Dave has everything there for us upon our arrival. The real bathroom was a plus especially we had kids with us. I love the little kitchen there. There was just so much space we was very surprised. We would definitely go back there!! Thank you Peggy and Dave! We all enjoyed it so did the kiddos!”
