“Our stay here was INCREDIBLE! This spot could not have been more perfect for my partner and I. It was an easy drive from NYC. Peg and Dave had so many extras for us (compared to other listings) including a flushable toilet, a propane gas grill, firewood etc. Being right next to the creek was the cherry on top, we did yoga on the creek every morning and even jumped in, the sound of it by the campfire was wonderful. It is nice and private while also being close to Peg&Dave, they made themselves available for everything we needed! We even got to see their Sap house and they gave us some of their homemade Maple syrup (yum!) so bring pancake or waffle mix with you. You can also park the car right by the campsite so makes transporting things quite easy, Oh and the stars at night - wow! We cannot wait to go back already.”
“A lovely little site, right next to a bubbling stream. Having running water and a regular toilet/bathroom were quite nice. David and Peg were very accommodating hosts and had a fire going for us in the tent when we arrived. It's fairly close to a couple idyllic Catskill towns which provide just enough civilization for any items you may need. We went up for the changing of the leaves and a better view could not have been had with the meadow right across the stream. Plenty of land to go hiking on and get into nature.”
“This was my first time ever using tentrr and I must say I’m hooked...It was a last minute weekend getaway that I, fiancé and little yorkie mix were trying to reserve. To our surprise Peg and Dave (the campsite hosts) were quick to respond and the most helpful hosts one could ever ask for . We arrived on Saturday 9-1-18, Peg and Dave showed us the site all its amenities and were helpful with directions into town to get some last minute necessities. The campsite was absolutely gorgeous. The campsite host provided us with bed sheets and blankets and a inside the tent the hosts provided a basket of their fresh produce and maple syrup. I loved the extra amenities such as the flush toilet and gas grill. The little brook was so peaceful to listen to all day and night. I had such a relaxing and wonderful time and will definitely come back.
