Tentrr is your private camping experience. We connect adventurers like you with private landowners who want to share their land so you can experience new places.
“Wild weather, stunning views, winding country roads, total peace and solitude, and one of the best breakfasts ever! I took my fiancee on a surprise birthday trip the first weekend in August. We met Saoirse at the Honor store and she provided water, ice and all the basic info for our stay on her family's sprawling farmland. The view alone was worth the 3 hour drive up from NYC. We're city folk who went to summer camp and have glamped elsewhere in the past. There were moments when I wished there was more than an portable outhouse, but those were few and far between. Being in nature, with a campfire, our own food and wine, a little background music from the portable speaker, and the stars above - could not ask for more! Oh and the breakfast on Saturday morning at the family Cafe, Sap Bush Hollow, rivaled anything in Manhattan or Brooklyn. If you want to getaway from it all for a little while, Calico Ridge is where it's at.”
“Our second time staying on Sap Bush Hollow farm, and just as good as the first time. The hosts are helpful and allow you to buy the most delicious meats directly from their farm store. The views are unreal and you have the meadow to yourself.”
“Perfect stay, didn’t realise it was literally the only tent- total solitude, perfect amount of wood for a night, fire flies, what more could you ask for. Stayed with two small kids (2&4) who loved it. Would love to come back someday.”
“This place is a remote and idyllic piece of heaven! Well equipped, clean, and the setting is glorious.
The drive to the site is a challenge but the host will accommodate you with their vehicle, if needed.
We went with our 2 boys for 2 nights. Our 9 year old said it was "life-changing". How's that for a review?!!”
“The space is a real tent like a real camping. The view from the tent site was peaceful and serene exactly what we were looking for; an escape from the real world. Our stay was in middle of summer so we were welcomed by harmonious sound of crickets which we enjoyed as this was part of fun.
Regarding space, the space has a bunk bed with air mattress. It makes some noise everytime you move but i slept like a baby. Bring your pillows, sheet and blanket.
We also made burgers on the fire pit and enjoyed the simplicity of lives. I can't speak to neighboring sites and waterfalls as our trip was cut short due to storm. Overall if you are looking for a real escape from the world with no internet and cell phone service then this is a place to be. I would go there in Sep/Oct when weather has cooled down a bit.”
“We couldn't have wished for a better weekend getaway at Shannon's and Bob's farm. The location is a dream and the site hosts were incredibly helpful with great communication throughout. We loved the option of the farm store and café and will be sure to be back.”
