I want to start this review by saying that despite me not liking camping, I had an amazing time. I planned this trip for my son for his 7th birthday because he absolutely loves camping and anything outdoors, I was a little hesitant seeing as I don’t like camping. As soon as we got to the campsite we were greeted by Gini and Kelly and they were so welcoming. They showed us around and let us know if there was anything we needed don’t hesitate to ask. They had everything provided that we would need from drinking water, to toilet paper, bug spray and so much more. The tent and treehouse were both so clean and very well kept. The walk to the creek was very well kept and it was a beautiful site! My son even caught a fish in the creek! Kelly and Gini knew that it was my sons birthday and even surprised him with a gift! I absolutely had an amazing time and it changed my perspective on camping! I will definitely be back!

We've stayed at several campgrounds this past year (KOAs, state parks, Jellystone), and this campsite is by far the best! There were four of us, 2 adults/2 kids, plus one energetic puppy. We stayed at both the tent and tree house. We all had a great time. I feel like this campsite is appealing to both couples and families. We had plenty to do around the property: hanging out around the camp fire, walking the grass paths around the property, playing/relaxing by the creek. There are also several smaller streams running through the property that my kids/dog liked to play in. My playful puppy LOVED being free and off leash. Kelly and Gini provide so many extras, that you don't need to worry about forgetting anything. I highly recommend this tentrr site and look forward to staying again! There are multiple nature preserves less than 30 minutes away and the touristy area of Lancaster is not far either. We ventured to Shenks Wildflower Preserve which has beautiful flowers in the spring time.

Conowingo Creek Campsite is wonderful! The Tent is so cool, the space and trails connected to the property are breathtaking! You even have your own intimate swimming hole along the trails! The water is natural and was such a great surprise. Kelly and Gini were the best hosts I have ever had during my travels. They made me a whoopie pie, started my fires, and were all-around great company. did I mention they have a treehouse on the property!?!?! Be sure to take advantage of all the food-related extras! They are amazing cooks!

What can I say about Conowingo Creek Campsite? Three words sum it up perfectly: Heaven on earth. My husband and I stayed for one night — although I wish it was several — at Conowingo Creek Campsite with our German shepherd, Timber for our 5th wedding anniversary. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away. In order to get to camp, you follow a gravel road that leads to a parking spot about a one-minute walk from camp that is exclusively for you. If you’re anything like us and pack a lot, don’t worry! There’s a little cart to help you pull everything easily to camp without breaking a sweat. Upon entering the camp, your jaw will drop to the floor. There’s a beautiful fire pit, lounge chairs, a picnic table with a prep station, whoopie pies, homemade dog treats, a private lavatory; and, of course, the most beautiful tent on a sturdy foundation to keep you off of the actual ground. Towards the lavatory, you will find a closet. Within that closet, you can find everything you will never need to camp the night: utensils, pots, pans, lounge chairs, plates, bowls, and just anything you could ever need. One of my favorite things about camp besides just how amazing it actually is is that our pup could be completely off-leash! He played and played and played until he literally became a barge with his legs stretched at both ends in the Superman position around the fire. Once the night closed in, we retreated into the tent and fell in love all over again. Once you’re inside with the heater going, it is so cozy and quaint. The bed is very comfy. In fact, I think I slept the best I’ve slept in months on that bed! Also, there was enough room for me, my husband, and our 95-lb pup comfortably in the bed. Outside of the camp, you will find beautiful nature walks to stroll your days away and also a peaceful little creek that is stocked with fish for all of your fishing fun! My husband is a big fly fisher and couldn’t wait to get to the creek. As he fished, Timber and I watched with lounge chairs while playing fetch. It was so much fun for all of us. I honestly cannot express enough how much we loved our time at camp. We even had the ability with all of the resources and cute little grilling fire pit to cook filet mignon with sliced garlic potatoes and asparagus for dinner for our anniversary meal. In the morning, we made sourdough toast with bacon, avocado, and eggs. We were in the middle of the woods, secluded, and had everything we could possibly ever need. The only thing I am sad about is that we only had one night to stay with our work schedules. Next time, I want to stay multiple nights at camp. The hosts were absolutely fabulous! From the moment we got there, they welcomed us and made us feel right at home. They even spent time hanging out and getting to know us at camp and loved Timber. If you’re considering staying at Conowingo Creek Campsite, I cannot recommend it enough. You will not be disappointed at all! We had to drag our dog out of camp, and I swear that my husband almost had to drag me! Thank you so much for having us. We cannot wait to come back again and spend more nights in paradise.

We had an amazing time here! Our hosts were so nice and available if we needed anything, but everything we needed was already provided. They thought through all the little details, which made it so easy to enjoy our time. From cooking utensils, to seasoned firewood, to flashlights/lanterns... all we needed to do ourselves was cook our food! The location is fantastic too, a 2 min walk to the creek on property, with plenty of beautiful views and areas. We fished for the plentiful trout in the creek, which was so much fun. I would absolutely recommend this site to anyone and we hope to stay here again in the future!

We absolutely loved our weekend at Conowingo Creek, especially with our dogs! Kelly and Gini were such gracious hosts, incredibly friendly and welcoming. The campsite was great and easy to access. A lot of thought and effort was clearly put into the campsite. We have already bragged about our trip to our friends and family, who now will be joining us on our next trip back. Thanks again Kelly and Gini, us two and the pups appreciate you!
