The site is fun in concept and it is clear that the owner's cared about setting up a pleasant experience for their visitors when they initially created the site. Unfortunately, the site wasn't clean (trash hadn't been removed--it was clear that some wildlife had gotten into it--and dirty sheets and towels were left in the tent by previous campers). We messaged hosts to let them know when we arrived and when we left but did not hear back from them. The horses on the property are very friendly but do get a bit pushy when treats (apples) were offered (to be fair, this was clearly stated in the welcome note on arrival). There's also a friendly golden retriever who didn't "take the hint" when we were trying to eat and get our kids ready for bed. It might be worth considering having a fenced in kitchen area to deter the animals and allow campers to cook/eat in peace. Mosquitoes were out in the evening this time of year--this was expected. As long as you are prepared for them, it isn't a big deal. We are seasoned tent campers and were just coming from camping at a Midcoast campground with our kids and dog earlier in the week. Ultimately, we ended up leaving to drive home to NH a night early as this Tentrr experience just wasn't what we were looking for.

Hey there, thanks for your feedback here. Without honest reviews like yours, we wouldn't know where to improve. We are very sorry to hear that you had a less-than-ideal stay at one of our campsites. Since your review, we've gotten in touch with the host at this particular site and addressed some of your concerns. They are aware of them and moving forward with future bookings, will be more mindful of the items you mentioned. Again, we apologize for the situation that occurred, but hope to see you out camping with us again soon! Cheers! The Tentrr Team

This was my 2nd stay and my family and I absolutely love being able to feed the horses and enjoy their company. They are so sweet and get a bit too excited with yummy treats so just keep an eye on little ones. They are gentle and sweet. We fed them some cucumbers and carrots and on our last day gave them some marshmallows as treats. We went for a drive to Wells Beach. My city kids at first were bored until I told them to get outside and be a kid. They got dirty and loved helping find dry wood and help cook. We look forward to visiting again in the future. Also the goat enjoyed some carrots but had no interest in cucumbers lol.

The campsite was more than we expected. It was fully appointed with everything u could possibly need. All you need to bring is clothes, bedsheets, comforter and food. The daily welcome by the 2 horses and the goat was such a treat!! Highly recommend!

Great stay. Location is secluded and private without being isolated. Horses were very friendly, goat was so cute. Wish my dog could be off leash without running away because he would have had so much room to explore. More amenities than expected. Owner was super nice and gave great recommendations. 10/10 would visit again.
