“This is a great site just in the forest at the bottom of a meadow. It is well-equipped with fresh water, everything you need for cooking, from utensils, a grill, a cooler, picnic table, as well as fire-pit and plenty of wood. Plus there is a commode and shower housed in a small tent. The tent is comfortable enough, and the queen bunks give enough room for a family of four. The view of the meadow is great, as are the two horses and goat that roam around a the property, and it is not too far to a supermarket, restaurants, etc., and of course, beaches, such as Ogunquit and Fort Foster. The host, Mike, was very nice, even letting us use his dog run for our dog at his house while we went out, and being a native he knows a lot about things to do and places to go. It is camping, however, so be prepared for mosquitoes.”
“Love this campsite. Very clean and well equipped. Comfy bed. Regular (cute) visits from the resident horses and their goat. Super friendly host. We’re not seasoned campers and this was our first Tentrr experience. Pleasantly surprised all round. Highly recommend this campsite.”
“This is such a serene site. It’s on the edge of a grazing meadow and shortly after arriving, two friendly horses and one sweet goat welcomed us. Mike is a wonderful host who made himself available were we to need anything. He even offered to pick up items from the store for us. We’d definitely stay here again.”
“The campsite had all amenities one could hope for including cooking utensils, pots, picnic table, grill, heated tent, cooler and a rustic toilet. The setting was serene and the fall foliage magnificent. We could hear coyotes, owls and other animals throughout the night. The hosts are very responsive and helpful. And the rescued horses and goat were so sweet. We will definitely be back.”
