Tentrr is your private camping experience. We connect adventurers like you with private landowners who want to share their land so you can experience new places.
“My husband and I loved staying here! Justin was so helpful in driving us to the site and helping us get settled. The farmland is absolutely beautiful and the open field that the site sits at the edge of has a beautiful sunset and mountain view, plus plenty of opportunity for stargazing at night. We enjoyed the private beach--just a five-minute, pretty walk from the site--and seeing tubers and kayakers float down the Saco River. This was our first time using Tentrr and visiting this area, and we were thrilled with both. We whole-heartedly recommend it and hope to come back another time. Thank you, Justin and Julie!”
“First time using this type of set up. The tents and beds were great. The storage and table/bench’s were good too. The sun shower needed some type of post or a tree to hang it up. The path to the river and access was terrible. Maybe install a set of stairs or even a ladder as the embankment was wash away. The NASA toilet bags did not stop the smell once closed, would of preferred a compost toilet. The tent location was ok, but would have like it in some shade during the mid to late sun as no place to get away from the hot sun to sit and relax. Maybe add a cover tent over the table. Saw other campers from across the river taking bathroom breaks in the field down from the tent site. Overall we enjoyed our time but, do not think we will try this type of camping again.”
“Such a cool experience! Julie and Justin were very communicative from the time of booking. They met us at the entrance to their property along with their family and two cute pups and drove us across beautiful farmland to the campsite. (I drove my Prius and was able to manage along the farm road with no problems) Once there, they showed us the ropes and filled the 5gallon jug of water provided; we were left alone to enjoy everything but they were just a text or phone call away if we needed anything! We loved how vast the campsite was with over 200 acres with mountain views- the site faces west, so we got perfect sunsets each night and had light until almost 10pm. The adirondack chairs were perfect for relaxing on the deck of the tent platform. The first night we were there it was wicked windy, so we opted to have a fire in the woodstove of the canvas tent, we moved the full size bunk bed (with really comfortable air mattresses on both levels) to the back side of the tent so we could fit the 5 of us and our dog around the warmth of the fire. Thankfully the wind died down and we could actually enjoy the firepit outside; although we didn't need to use the metal grill that was provided to go over the fire, it was nice to have the option. We loved the movable benches that were part of the picnic table, and appreciated they had so much room in them for storage- also loved the prep station over the dry food storage box, it was so easy to make food on it and fit our propane grill nicely. We also loved the extra 5person pop up tent so we didn't have to bring ours- it was so easy to set up, we may be buying one of our own now! Also, the outdoor camp toilet is set up in the tent when you arrive, but we moved it out past our site to where the woods meets the grass and it was actually wicked peaceful, private, and had a mountain view! The site is right on the Saco River and across from a family campground, but the site is higher than the river, so we hardly heard any noise. Since it's on a hill, there is a steep slope behind the site to the river, which we were able to get down to tube the river, but we also drove one of our cars like 2mins over to the beach on the property to unload our coolers and towels. The river was so nice, we spent the entire day in it. We didn't get a chance to use the outdoor sun shower, but it looked nice from the photo on the box! This was our first time using tentrr and we definitely recommend this site- we can't wait to come back!”
