Tentrr is your private camping experience. We connect adventurers like you with private landowners who want to share their land so you can experience new places.
“Beaverdam Falls “Top of the Rock” was AMAZING. Everything was carefully thought out. There’s appropriate signage at every turn of the pathways, extra campfire wood neatly stacked in convenient places, and extras in the tent that Tentrr typically recommends the guest bring, plus more. The space was super clean for camping which was a nice feeling to climb into a clean space to sleep at night. The property owner was super welcoming and friendly. He really cares about preserving the grounds and nature that the falls sit on. This site sits on privately owned land that allows you to explore trails, a neat cave, open fields, the falls and the creek that runs from it, and a beaver marsh. Surrounding this Tentrr location there was plenty of other historic things to see and trails and waterfalls. Locals were super friendly as well!”
“We loved our stay here. The CampKeeper was super friendly and willing to help with anything we needed. The campsite was well stocked with everything we needed which was a really nice touch.”
“We had an awesome time celebrating our 20th anniversary at Top of the Rock! Beau is an excellent host in that we had everything we needed and more, and he is very personable! He chatted with us and answered some questions we had about the property, but at that same time he respects guests' privacy. You can tell he loves and cares for the land, and rightly so because it is a beautiful and special piece of property!
We thoroughly enjoyed the huge waterfall right outside our tent! We had the best night's sleep with the comfortable memory foam mattress and the sound of the waterfall. There is also a beautiful sitting area at the base of the falls where we enjoyed mimosas the next morning. Beau provided plenty of dry firewood and we loved hanging out by the fire pit and cooking over it. We took several fun walks on the property along the creek, across the neat swinging bridge and up to the ridge, and around the Stick Marsh (wetlands). Beau even loaned me his kayak so I could check out the beaver dams and birdlife out in the marsh and pond! Oh and he has a bucket of food that you can feed the prettiest, biggest trout I've ever seen that are in the pools below the falls. There is also a unique cave on the property and interesting rock formations made out of Travertine.
We thoroughly enjoyed this getaway and have already highly recommended it to our friends and family back home. It was awesome to "unplug" (there's wifi up at the house at the front of the property if you need it), and enjoy each other and nature! Book a getaway at Beaverdam Falls, you will love it!”
“The pictures don’t even come close to doing this place justice. The waterfall is directly outside of the tent. It is STUNNING! Will for sure come back during the warmer weather to go swimming in the clearest water ever! Also, the host was terrific!”
“This is basically a national park... in your backyard. It’s insane to have your own waterfall with cascading streams and vast beautiful landscape, all right outside your tent. The tent has ample heating from the stove and propane heater for winter stays. Making coffee and hot chocolate with from stove, reading some book in the rocking chair next to fire, all while listening to the waterfall is SUCH A VIBE. We didn’t want phone signals after two nights’ stay. Beau was very helpful and attentive and supplied us all we needed - cooking utensils, firewood, coal, water, etc. We did need to bring our own bedding though.
Be prepared for some ruggedness as this is after all in the wild. But we feel that’s all part of the fun :)
p.s. tip: Though the tent does come with 2 camping lights, one or two battery operated lanterns will make the tent look boho as - at night (we found some at Walmart).”
