“This is a sweet campsite hosted by a wonderful set of camp keepers! We appreciated the camp shower and found it super refreshing on a hot weekend. The amenities provided by our keepers were better than many other sites we've camped at, including a great fire pit that didn't need cleaning, wood, hygiene items, soap, water. The creek itself is not large enough for much more than minnow- or toad-watching, but still offered beautiful scenery and sounds. This is a fun site for bird watching / listening, lots of eastern towhees who like to flirt if you whistle at them, also some red-tailed hawks who browse the field above the site. Wine berries happened to be ripe when we were there and we foraged to make a delicious compote! But they're good straight off the plant, too. All in all, a lovely site only 1.5 hours from Philly.”

“Everything was exactly as pictured. The fire pit and table were very handy. And the ‘outhouse’ area worked great. It felt quite secluded and you drive through rolling hills and beautiful farms all around. Yet you can get to a Starbucks within 15 minutes if you like. Thanks so much for the hospitality!”
“This was our second time at this spot. We loved it just as much as the first time! Dan and Nancy were excellent host and provided all the amenities needed while camping. Freshly baked goods from Nancy was an absolute plus too! Great location and great site.”
“This was our second time visiting Dan and Nancy's campsite, and we were thrilled to be back. The site is fabulous and the hosts can't be beat. Highly recommended!”
“Our experience was nothing short of amazing. Dan met us right outside of the site. Once we arrived he showed us the ins and outs of the amenities and recited some awesome poems that he created. The site itself has everything you need to include the disconnect from reality. With that being said, if you found yourself short on any supplies, you were about 8 minutes away from the nearest grocery store (Redner's). It was a great experience and I will definitely be coming back next year!”
“The tent and set up is as described - next to a field, in a pleasant wooded area and a creek nearby. We went to the site on a soggy weekend, and while there was some leaking on one side of the tent due to wind, we stayed pleasantly dry! As others have noted, though we did not meet the campsite hosts, tasty cookies and a welcoming note were provided, along with paper towels. There is a little wood stove in the tent - so if it is cold out, come prepared with some dry kindling to take some time to build a fire and heat up the tent. I would definitely stay here again, esp in warmer months. The air mattresses let cold air seep in, so if you come during cold months be sure to bring an extra layer to put under yourself as well as over yourself!”
