“Despite leaving early due to some heavy rain, we had a great time at The Cattails! The site itself was easy to get to and had a lovely view of the mountains. We couldn't see or hear the other two sites from our area, which was great - it felt like we had the whole property to ourselves despite it being fully booked! The tent was tidy and comfortable, and we can attest to just how waterproof it was during a thunderstorm!
We did not get a chance to explore much of the property, but the parts we did see were gorgeous. The waterfall was so pretty and we (and our pup) loved getting to splash around at the base. The few paths we did walk had great views of the mountains and the marsh/creek.
We overall enjoyed our short stay and would love to be back in nicer weather!”
“If I could give this place ten stars I would over and over again. The host was responsive and helpful. The location was undersold of how beautiful the property was and we had hikes planned around VA but we could have just stayed on the property because it was perfect. Will certainly be back.”
