This was my second time visiting and this campsite definitely does not disappoint! Beau is amazing and the property is absolutely incredible. You can definitely tell how much hard work has gone into the landscaping. It feels natural and organic yet well-planned. While there are tons of hiking options in the nearby vicinity, we never felt the need to leave the property as there was so much to explore! The wildlife is incredible as are the amenities and the view from the tent!
Most of the basics are provided. In the check-in shed, there are also tons of essentials and extras that you can purchase (so be sure to bring some cash)! Beau provides you with plenty of water and wood, but we found it helpful to bring some newspaper or wood chips for kindling.
If you can, I definitely recommend getting there before dark as your turn is incredibly easy to miss at night.”
“The owner was very nice and accommodating. We were shocked at how much space we had. The waterfalls were so beautiful and we enjoyed exploring. The tent was big and clean. There was even a big tent shelter over the picnic table. Definitely recommend this very spot!”
“My friends and I had the best weekend ever here!!!! Absolutely stunning views, swimming in the waterfall was surreal, the camp site had almost everything included in case we forgot anything, and the host was so welcoming and fun. We’re already talking about booking our next stay!!”
“We really enjoyed our stay at The Cattails near Beaverdam Falls. Beau came by after we arrived and introduced himself, even offered more firewood at no additional cost (we brought our own and didn’t need to supplement). He feeds the trout in the stream every night, which our kids got a kick out of. The tent was roomy enough for the 4 of us…we brought two cots for the kids and we were able to put them on both sides of the bed. The Poo Pod was nice to have, but definitely not made for tall people. Not a problem, since we had ample privacy. The canopy over the picnic table provided a nice shady area, which was much appreciated. The property is stunning. We really enjoyed exploring the trails/caves/marsh/waterfalls. We’ll definitely be back!”
“What a great stay at Beaverdam Falls! This was my first Tentrr experience and it did not disappoint. Beau met us during check-in and made sure we had everything we needed including a walkie-talkie should we need to get a hold of him for anything. Beaverdam Falls is gorgeous. Between the waterfall, cave, and wide open fields, we had lots to explore over the weekend. The campsite had everything we needed including plenty of firewood. We loved the privacy the Stick Marsh site offered as it was off the beaten path but we could still hear the waterfall in the distance. Beau was a gracious host and we loved hearing about the land we were occupying. Would definitely come back again!”
