“Another magical weekend at the creek. This campsite is the perfect spot for a relaxing weekend with friends and Max is a great host. Looking forward to going back!”
“Really awesome campsite! The host, Max, is extremely accomodating and informative. If you get a minute to chat, ask him about some of his Woodstock stories! Thanks for the great times, Max.”
“Had a great time at the campsite. Second time we booked this particular site. Max was very kind and responsive. Saturday we got to spend some time in the creek. We have two young kids and the creek and tubes were perfect. Glad we asked for the tarp as Sunday morning was a bit rainy and it really helped. Would definitely recommend this site.”
“This campsite was the perfect little secluded hideaway with beautiful foliage and mountain views. The hots/service made the process straightforward and seamless. Thanks for a great time!”
“This is a wonderful campsite and a great area. Unfortunately, it was chilly and rainy the weekend we went, but we made the best of it, exploring in the woods where the trees provided plenty of cover. We went to Tannersville for dinner one night instead of dealing with the campfire in the rain and it was a fun addition to our trip. There are also plenty of hiking trails in the area if you get tired of exploring the creek and woods around the campsite. When the sun finally came out we had a blast running around the meadow - lots of space for kids to play. The only downside was we were expecting the wood stove in the tent, we thought it would be great for the chilly nights, but it was not there, that was disappointing. We can't wait to book for next summer though when we can pay and swim in the creek! Campsite is five stars, I gave it four stars because of the wood stove missing and the charge for firewood. All the other Tentrr campsites we've stayed at have provided firewood free of charge, but I do understand some do charge.”
“Had a great time here, and Max was very accommodating. Just stayed for one night, and did not do much hiking but the site was peaceful and as advertised. It's not too far from town should you need anything, but is also removed enough to feel isolated and away from it all. See there have been some complaints about ticks. One person our trip found a tick, but I did not find any on me, nor did I see any.”
“The campsite is very nice. The tent is clean and offers comfort in the wild. The open field, woods, and creek nearby are a beautiful location. There are nice nearby hikes. There is Tannersville nearby, which is a cute tourist town with plenty of restaurants and boutique stores. The only thing I was hoping for was a cleaner body of water nearby to swim in. There are swim holes where the water is deeper and moves quickly, and so is clean and clear, but they are a hike away. There is also Colgate lake, but that is a 20 minute drive away. Overall though, this site was beautiful and quite nice. Our family would plan on coming back and using Tentrr again.”
