Tentrr is your private camping experience. We connect adventurers like you with private landowners who want to share their land so you can experience new places.
“Unusable site. The 2nd air mattress as advertised, was completely unusable. I presented the site keeper amble opportunity to make things right and I was ignored. I would have paid more for this site to have know that I needed to bring my own air mattress. I would have just love an apology. Now, Tentrr wants to offer a "gift card" to use their service again? I've lost trust in their service and ability to correct issues.”
“This is a magical campsite. Everything was wonderful, the view is incredible, the wildflowers and cows are magestic. We had a great time, cooked over the fire, and enjoyed the amenities provided. We are avid backcountry campers, so this was glamping for us - but is not traditional "glamping." Bring your own bedding, water, food, headlamps/lights, TP and cooking utensils. Overall, this is a beautiful site and we had an incredible time. Enjoy!”
“AMAZING! This site is so beautiful and secluded, yet close to downtown New Paltz, apple picking, farmer's markets, breweries, and wineries. If you're looking for a secluded, picturesque place to stay with nearby activities, this is perfect. The kids loved seeing the cows and chicks! We would definitely go back to this site.”
“We had a lovely time staying at 1772 LeFevre House. The tent was well kept and very cozy. We had a great night's sleep and absolutely loved waking up to the golden view of the mountains. We picked up wood and some food supplies from Wright's farm and had a great time enjoying the town of New Paltz. I would highly recommend staying at this Tentrr!”
“I love this site!
Stunning views of Mohonk preserve, starry sky. Cows(behind the fence, far away - no smell, just an additional detail to the picturesque serenity!”
“This site is really amazing. We LOVED the view ! But honestly, we expected to be fully equipped- like they advertised. I've noticed other sites provide full beddings etc, but if you go to LeFevre House expect to bring everything with you: sheets, blankets, quilts (cause nights are cold even in the middle of summer), lanterns, stove gas, water !!! (you need to build your own shower!), fire woods, fire starters, matches etc. There is only a tent (not very clean), 2 airbeds (almost flat so rather uncomfortable), some basic furnitures and that's about it. It is also tricky to find the spot, so make sure you pin your tent on google satellite first. I am sure we will come back again but with a portable shower bag, full beddings and other necessary equipment. I loved the spot- very private and beautiful but I think the price should be lower since they don't provide much.”
