Tentrr is your private camping experience. We connect adventurers like you with private landowners who want to share their land so you can experience new places.
“I had a wonderful time staying here with a group of friends! Loved having the pond to ourselves and it was nice to be in the woods with quick access to an open area for starts. Note that the toilet is located inside the main tent (I prefer when it is in its own pop up tent for privacy like some other Tentrr sites). We went on a nearby hike to the Ferncliff Forest observation tower and would definitely recommend that to others. Also, Mead Orchards was wonderful (we were there late September).”
“The campsite was incredible! It’s your own private oasis in the woods. The pond is beautiful and there’s plenty of room for activity (especially if you have a dog!). I would recommend to anyone looking for a weekend getaway to stay here. It was my girlfriend's birthday and it made her weekend.
Thanks again!”
“Beautiful weekend at Vista Valley Sites 1. The weather was perfect. The pond was still, warm, and full of fish. We even caught several.
Camp keeper was very accommodating. We will certainly be returning for some extreme rest, relaxation, quiet... and smores.”
“My husband, two daughters and dog had a wonderful stay. We lucked out with the weather and were able to swim and kayak on the beautiful and very clean pond. Very relaxing, peaceful place that felt like it was out in the wilderness yet was only minutes away from a great diner. We would love to come back again next year.”
“Nice private space. Everything is as pictured. There were plenty of bugs in the tent though which may be helpful to know for those that might be squeamish about them. Also, we made a few attempts to find the garbage drop off mentioned but couldn’t locate it. We ended up throwing it out at a gas station.”
“This campsite was amazing! My boyfriend and I stayed for one night as a mini getaway from the city and couldn't be happier. The Tent is setup for you upon arrival and Ralph (the campkeeper) was extremely responsive to any questions we had. We forgot our lanterns at home, but would highly recommend bringing lanterns/large flashlights as it does get extremely dark. We were able to gather firewood from the woods and made dinner just as it was getting dark. In the morning, we made breakfast and decided to take the Kayaks out on the pond- we saw turtles, frogs and some bass (it was absolutely lovely). The campsite is perfect as it's about a 5 min drive to the nearest store but still feels like you're camping. We'll definitely be coming back to Vista Valley. Highly, highly recommend!”
“Loved the site and Ralph was very attentive to all our needs. I've stayed here before and love it so much that I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again!”
