“My boyfriend and I had a fabulous stay at Ralph's site. The location is very private and you honestly feel like you're the only one around. It was a sunny day so we laid out on the jetty and swam in the lake. The water was so warm! We saw fish & turtles in the lake and a deer and rabbits in the fields. Would highly recommend if you're looking for a secluded and relaxing getaway!”
“Outstanding view, close to town and literally breathtaking. We loved our experience at this site. We would recommend bringing a lot of blankets and warm sweaters if coming late fall like us, although I am sure this place is paradise perfect during the summer season. Ralph responded promptly. Beautifil stay.”
“We had a great time at Visa Valley Sites. The site is gorgeous - especially in early fall with the leaves changing color. We caught a small bass in the private fishing pond, made burgers over the campfire and even saw a few deer. It rained pretty heavy one of the evenings/mornings we were there and were thankful for the stove inside the cabin to keep us warm at night. The only downside was the tent was filled with stink bugs - they didn't bother us but you could hear them flying around at night and found a few in our belongings as we unpacked. Nothing crazy considering you are camping, but a word to those who may be afraid!
We would love to stay again once the weather is warm in the spring!”
“We went with a group of friends to celebrate my boyfriends birthday and the site couldn’t have been better. Ralph was extremely helpful and reliable, even bringing us more firewood throughout our stay. We loved having the pond and so much space to play games, hang out around the campfire and grill. We loved it and will definitely be back!”
“Wonderful beautiful camp site. The pond is great for kayaking. Its close to Red Hook which is a great town with lots to do. Ralph was very accommodating. Lots of wild life, secluded and perfect for little kids.”
“I can't say enough about Vista Valley! We had the best time. The site is gorgeous, it's on a big open area with a fantastic pond in the middle. We spent pretty much ALL of Saturday floating around what we dubbed, "Berry Island" in the kayak Ralph provided & floats we brought with us. There are a few trails on the property too, which we took our dogs on for their walks. We were joined all weekend by a few deer, some amazingly colorful birds & my favorite part; THE FROGS! Although we couldn't see them, they sang us to sleep & sang us awake every day. We used the wood burning stove in the tent to make dinner Friday night, because it happened to be raining & our outside fire wouldn't start. We were grateful fo the indoor stove! Town is a few miles away, which was great for picking up last minute things we needed. On our way out Sunday afternoon, we stopped at Holy Cow, the loval ice cream shop & I'd definitely suggest checking that out too! Delicious & fun. Overall, this was a weekend to remember & I can't wait to come back!”
