This campsite was a dream come true. It was a secluded, quiet. in nature, but not too far from a small town. The lake was gorgeous and the perfect temperature. The pups had a blast! Ralph was a pleasure to have as a host.

Great campsite! The pond was cool and refreshing to swim in on a hot summer day. There was a lot of space and privacy, and the owner wasn't too far away and very attentive if we needed more water. Would highly recommend staying at this spot.

Many thanks to Ralph for all the help during our stay , renting the Kayak is a most , bug spray do not forget that, the town of Hudson is about 25 minutes from the site and I would totally recommended it, Beautiful town ,although everything is nearby it does feel secluded ,its a nice spot .

Lovely site right next to woods, but with a big grassy spot out front to enjoy the fire and the stars, and a great dock to swim from - was just perfect for visiting with a kid who loves roasting marshmallows and swimming in ponds, watching dragonflies and hearing the frog-song. A big plus - it's super close to the town of Red Hook so you can enjoy the outdoors but also pop easily into the town for supplies or a meal.

Second time camping for my husband and I and truly amazed at the true beauty of what NY has to offer. The calmness and freeness of the wildlife while we sat and watched was just amazing. Tent was clean and very well equipped. Ralph was very attentive to our needs as well. We fished and kayaked all the day as the fawns and wild turkey explored the grassy hills. The entire experience felt like a home away from home. A trip definitely worth taking again. Thanks Ralph see you soon.

My wife, 30 year old son, 27 year old daughter and I enjoyed an epic Father’s Day weekend here. Everything was perfect. Ralph, the Campkeeper, was very accommodating and thoughtful anticipating our every need. The pond is an incredible focal point of the campsite complete with a dock with Adirondack Chairs, a kayak and a beautiful island. The fishing was great. My son and I caught 3 huge Large Mouth Bass. Swimming in the pond was so much fun as was paddling the kayak around the island. The island’s blueberries were almost ready to eat. We enjoyed seeing a Blue Heron, Red Wing Blackbirds, a spotted fawn and the resident Bullfrog. We made s’mores over a fire while gazing at the star filled sky. The next morning we made bacon and eggs over an open fire. The nearby town had a great ice cream shop, coffee houses and terrific dining options. It will be tough to beat this experience. Thanks Ralph !!!
