Tentrr is your private camping experience. We connect adventurers like you with private landowners who want to share their land so you can experience new places.
“We had a great time at Liberty Hill. The view honestly looked like you were looking out at the French countryside. Your in an area that specializes in growing fruit, so you'll pass through orchards on your way there. The site was awesome - clean, relatively flat, well set-up, close to hiking. The hosts came up to say hello as soon as we arrived and we saw them the next day, when we went to fill up our water. The camp loo is by far the best loo I've seen at a Tentrr! Thank you guys so much for having us!”
“We had a very enjoyable time staying here! The setting is very beautiful and the host was friendly and helpful. My only complaint was the air mattresses on the bunk bed were extremely noisy so that every time we moved slightly it sounded like a torrential downpour was hitting the tent, Consequently the sleep was not very good.”
“Liberty Hill Camp was fantastic . You can see and feel the care and attention the camp keeper Jerry has for this beautiful place. The surrounding area full of fruit farms and orchards adds to the beauty of the county . A truly great place to unwind”
“Liberty hill is a beautiful site with gorgeous views. My adult children and their significant others joined us and each had their own tent. There was plenty of room to spread out. Plus there was an extra picnic table which really came in handy for the six of us.”
“Amazing views and my son and I had such a great time! This place is awesome! Wonderful cell phone coverage so we could stream a movie while camping. We really enjoyed ourselves!”
“This is a beautifully sited campground with ample privacy and beautiful views. Campkeeper Jerry has taken obvious care to keep the campsite well-maintained (e.g., there were stones neatly stacked to guide you to a hidden hammock in the trees, and new trees had been recently planted around the campsite that had lovely solar uplights to keep you from stepping on them at night). It was easy to find sticks for fire-starting and marshmallow-roasting in the surrounding woods, and we were grateful for the lovely dry wood we bought from Jerry.
This is a great campsite for young kids. Ours are two and four, and they had a ball. We brought a pack-and-play for our youngest who sleeps in a crib, and it fit nicely in the corner inside the platform tent. Our older child was safe and comfortable on the top bunk because of the bed rails on both sides. I'm not sure if that's Tentrr standard-issue or just a thoughtful touch, but we appreciated it.
The stinkbugs are abundant at this time of year but that's not anyone's fault, and in fact Jerry came by before we arrived to get rid of some of them that were hanging out inside the tent. They come back quickly, but they're not too bad if you just ignore them, and they didn't bother us too much.
We look forward to coming back!”
