This was a great site! The view was beautiful, we loved watching the sunset over the mountains and taking a morning walk through the orchards. The place was peaceful and we felt like the only people around. Jerry is a wonderful campkeeper, so friendly and helpful. Would love to come back.

We really enjoyed our trip! The campsite is private and located on top of a hill above the forest, orchards, and meadows with views of the mountains in the distance. We arrived 2 days after a snow storm. Jerry made sure we had plenty of firewood to help keep us warm and was super kind to drive us and our belongings up the hill to the site as my own car didn’t have 4 wheel drive. Definitely recommend the Camp at Liberty Hill!

We absolutely loved this campsite. Photos don’t do justice to how beautiful the views are. Our host was incredibly hospitable and helped us start a fire outside and in the wood stove. The site is also close to a small town, so it was easy to get food if you’re not cooking. It’s also near some great hiking areas and farmers markets. I definitely plan to go back someday!

My friends and I had a great time during our weekend at Liberty Hill Camp. The campsite is at the top of a hill with beautiful views of the surrounding area, and the tent and fire pit are tucked in behind some trees so there's plenty of privacy. Jerry was a great host. He set up the dome tent for us and stopped by when we arrived to make sure we had everything that we needed. He even towed our car for us after we attempted to park on a muddy incline and got stuck (not an issue with the campsite; just city folks who don't know the limitations of their VW jetta). He invited us to explore the property and sample the apples which were delicious. He also recommended several points of interest in the area to check out, but we opted to spend our time at the campsite and the area immediately surrounding it. We appreciated the extra picnic table, all of the stumps arranged for seating around the fire pit and the grate that was provided for cooking. There was also plenty of dry firewood despite the rainy week that preceded our trip. It was a perfect spot for our weekend getaway from the city and we definitely plan to come back.

Campsite was great! Jerry was very helpful. He provided firewood and a charcoal grill. We had some heavy rain the first day and Jerry stopped by to offer a tarp if needed. The tent provided, held up just fine in the heavy rain. Michuax state forest is great for hiking and there are several breweries and wineries in the area.

What a great spot! High on Rampike Hill with apple orchards and rolling hills to the east and Micheaux State Forest to the west. The rain broke just in time for a pretty sweet sunset. This space at the top of the hill is big enough for some lawn games and yet secluded enough that no one would know you're up there otherwise! Jerry, who we met while taking a walk through the orchard was very nice and super accommodating when we forgot a lighter to get our fire started. Be sure to hit up Hollabaugh Farm's Market for awesome baked goods, fresh fruit, and cold ice cream! Thanks again, Jerry!
