Tentrr is your private camping experience. We connect adventurers like you with private landowners who want to share their land so you can experience new places.
“The camp was great! We loved the privacy we had at the site, very different from a typical campground site. The swimming hole and waterfall were only about a 10 minute walk from the Tentrr site and was a really nice feature and felt great to cool off. Our dog had a blast as well! The tent was very clean and when we arrived the camp shower and 5 gallon cooler were filled with water for us to use. Very clean, quiet and spacious! We would love to return sometime”
“Well provisioned camp, fairly isolated from the rest of the spots although not completely. Do expect others to possibly walk by on their way to the waterfall.
The waterfall trail can be very muddy and tricky after rainfall, pack accordingly!
The other hiking trail loop isn't as well marked and is a bit overgrown so take your time and check GPS if you can to stay on the trail.
Owner made getting and paying for extra firewood very easy. Much appreciated as the trip was colder than expected.”
“It was very comfortable. The waterfall is beautiful and it takes only 15-20 min by walk. The owner is always accessible and very accommodating. Lovely place to go back”
“The campsite is beautiful and situated close enough to the main road but not too close. The waterfall hike and waterfall are amazing. My kids loved it. The trail to the waterfall is a real trail but my three year old was able to hike it. The waterfall is awesome and we all loved it. Jerrine is very attentive to the campers needs and also about off site activities if you wanted to head to town or the county sites. Plan on booking again next summer.”
“Our Tentrr site was amazing and much better amenities that our prior Tentrr experiences. It was unseasonably cold, but the propane gas furnace kept us warm and though we went through the remnants of a hurricane, we stayed dry in the tent. The waterfall was also not that far and was really amazing! Our host kept in great contact with us.”
“Jerrine was a welcoming and considerate host. We had a clean, comfortable camping experience and the forest with its sea of ferns was a beautiful escape. We highly recommend the mushroom tour that is an added experience to round out the stay. Marilyn was passionate about her subject and we got a peek at agro-forestry in action. Learning about how to cultivate mushrooms in the forest was enlightening and then we were lucky enough to forage for chanterelles together. We were also given a bolt to take home so we could grow our own shiitake mushrooms. It’s currently under a tree in our yard, a sweet reminder of our stay.”
“Loved the location and it was very well stocked. We did the mushroom experience and came home with knowlege and some mushrooms!! It is a great place for naturalists to explore plants and animals, and a cooling experience swimming in the creek and waterfall. 5 out of 5 stars!! The hosts were great!”
