Tentrr is your private camping experience. We connect adventurers like you with private landowners who want to share their land so you can experience new places.
“It was our first family camping trip, we spent the weekend at this tentrr site and we loved it. Our 3-year-old daughter was very excited to play at the site. Overall, the whole place was very clean, the bed was comfy and we had the basic supplies we needed. There's no cell service at the tentrr site, we had no problem with that but I would suggest if you have questions please talk to the host before your trip or when you check in. The short hike to the waterfall was muddy and intense at some spots for a toddler, but our little girl was able to hike with us most of the way by herself. We got lucky that we found this place, we had a great time!”
“We had a fantastic time at this site! I always look for a site that seems forested and secluded. Before our trip, I read the reviews and got the sense that we might be sharing the site with another group, but I assure you that the campsite itself is very secluded! The tent sits atop a hill and is surrounded by beautiful woods. The tent itself is extremely clean and almost feels like a hotel. The walk to the waterfall is a very scenic, short trip leading to a swimming hole that does not disappoint. The hosts gave us our privacy, but were very quick to respond if we needed anything--even walked out in torrential downpour to show us where to throw out our garbage! I have stayed in a few Tentrr sites, but this one is truly my favorite!”
“Absolutely beautiful site, the tent location and the waterfall were perfect. Jerrine and her family were very kind and accommodating. I highly recommend the mushroom tour as well.”
“It's difficult to express in words how wonderful this getaway was.
We were extremely relaxed and care free. The seclusion was the best. No matter which direction you looked there was nothing but trees.
The bed was surprisingly comfortable. My partner and I both slept soundly. I highly recommend this little piece of heaven.”
“We luckily had the site all to ourselves and the creek and waterfall was beautiful! Did not see a single person during our two day stay and it was great! We didn't have any cell reception or internet there, even at the visitor parking lot, (and could not ask for wifi password because no cell reception) but we didn't mind at all! Our last night, while we were sleeping, however we could hear some really loud cars/ trucks rumble by, but that is beyond the control of the host. The host was friendly and very responsive!”
“Amazing site! We stayed 4 nights and had a great time! The site was neat and clean and secluded! We were greeted with a quick hello when first pulling in the hosts were very friendly. The wild life around was plentiful we saw at least 1 deer each day we were there. I recommend right before dark to just sit in quiet and listen to the birds it pretty amazing! The walk to the waterfall was about 10 minutes it got a little muddy in places but if you have good shoes than it’s not a problem just follow the blue markers.we packed snacks and drinks and water shoes and spent some time swimming in the falls! The water was very clean with no glass or garbage anywhere a nice safe place to swim in nature! We had it all to ourselves for 4 days! The creek was low so we walked back to camp down the creek it took a little longer but was very scenic and fun! There are stores close by including a wal Mart only about 10 minutes away! The town was small and cute and is surrounded by beautiful Mountain View’s! Vromans nose is a must hike with amazing views of the valley! There are farm stands with fresh produce all over! If your looking for a quiet secluded camp in the forest this is it!! get in your car and drive in any direction and enjoy the beautiful landscapes and small mountain towns! We will be back and highly recommend!”
