Let there be light! The Coleman Northstar Instant Up 4 Lighted DarkRoom Tent introduces integrated LED lighting to the popular Dark Room technology that reduces light, reduces heat and allows you to sleep longer whilst camping! Sticking strong with the frame from the ever-popular Instant Up series, the Coleman Northstar Instant Up 4 Lighted DarkRoom Tent has an included front vestibule for added living and storage space. The Dark Room patented fabric treatment blocks 95% of sunlight and keeps the inside approx. 5 degrees cooler, meaning you'll be cooler during the day and warmer at night allowing you to sleep for longer! The ultra-fine mesh through allows for plenty of ventilation and added airflow, whilst the convenient welcome mat keeps your tent clean and dry once you've returned from adventuring! The Instant Up Hub frame design allows for a quick set up with the integrated pre-attached frame, taking just 2 minutes to set up, the front door can also be pitched out as 2 pole awning with the included awning poles! There's a Hook & Loop strip on the awning to allow you to attach your Coleman Deluxe Gazebo and plenty of internal storage space due to an integrated storage hammock and organisers as well as power cord management access. Packing down just as quickly as setting up, the Coleman Northstar Instant Up 4 Lighted DarkRoom Tent includes a heavy duty carry bag for easy storage and transport! The awning on the Coleman Northstar Instant Up 4 Lighted DarkRoom Tent is purpose built to provide ample shade. The design, however, isn't ideal for inclement weather, so when the weather turns south, we do recommend dropping the awning where possible. Note: The tent in the below video is not an exact match to the Northstar Instant Up 4 Lighted DarkRoom Tent and is for illustration purposes only

I've only used it once and on dry condition so I can only judge by that. It blocks the sun, rather easy to set-up and the led light is a great feature too.

Very quick and easy to set up for one person. I like the fact it's big enough to stand up in and roomy, but its not bulky, it fits in the car easy

I love this tent. It really is simple to put up and pack down and fold up. I didn't get it as tightly packed as when it first came but close to it. Lots of room inside. Love the little alcove in front. Hand to store extra stuff. It rained on our trip and nothing got wet.

Compact but still very roomy for two with bags inside. The little awning is good and makes it much better than a basic tent without any awning. Gotta say the welcome mat is a little small and pointless but it doesn't put me off the tent! The darkness is perfection (I hate waking up hot in the sun only to discover it's only 7am and cold outside, lol) and means you don't have to stress so much about the path of the sun. Especially if there's no trees around or if you don't want to camp under a gum tree in case of falling branches. Reasonably easy to put up and take down and the instructions are attached to the bag so you won't lose them. Got everything back in the bag again at the end without much drama so that's great too. Fast delivery. Very happy.

Was looking for a strong tent with good quality floor and materials, this is it. I can put it up by myself no problems. Great for one (or two in good weather). I love the vestibule for it's many uses. Without the vestibule it would be extremely gloomy in bad weather. I have bought clear plastic sheeting for light rain (when no wind) to still have a view. I need to see out. You can configure the flaps of the vestibule to open sideways if needed. The included external very small floor mat is not that useful for me. I had bought a different darkroom Coleman in the past a vowed never to buy Coleman again, until this one knocked my socks off and redeemed Coleman for me. This is the gold series, wouldn't recommend lesser grades. Love it.

Have been thru so many tent but always had problem with them like water likings from the roof, massive condensation during the night but with this tent I ve been camping for 5 days, no condensation, and was amazing how dark stays with sunlight, the light built in are really easy to use and hand I just wished that they placed a second button in the other side so I don’t have to get up to turn down the light before to sleep and the fly screen they doesn’t seem really heavy duty so would be careful around them rather than that really happy that I ve changed to this tent and is so easy to set up also. Would recommend 100%

I love my new tent. I found it a good size for 1 person..I had a decent sized camping bed and all my gear stowed nicely with room to stand up and move a bit. Spent 5 nights in total in my tent. One night, in particular, in Broken Hill, I endured 45km winds and rain all night long. Hardly slept a wink that night for fear the tent would blow away..next morning upgraded the tent pegs to heavy duty..I would highly recommend heavier tent pegs. I’m a 70 yr old lady and managed the tent on my own but it took me over an hour to assemble and an hour or so to pack away…my next camping holiday I will stay in 1 place for a full week or so..too much work for me assembling and dismantling a tent and all the camping gear for just for 1 or 2 nights. I felt snug and private in my tent and it was very efficient keeping out the light in the morning..looking forward to my next camping trip.
