The all NEW Swagger instant up 3 Person from Coleman. Much like a traditional swag, it is simple set up, easy to use and always dependable. It's compact, and easy to store. Featuring a dual instant spine hub, the spring loaded lateral fibreglass torsion poles give you more headroom than traditional swags. Featuring 150 Denier polyester for both the tent and fly, with a waterhead rating of 1500mm and a 14 x 14 PE Tarp floor, its also tough enough for most Australian conditions. Windows on each end give great ventilation and the D shaped door ease of access. You can also convert the door to an awning (poles are included) This great new concept is going to be a huge hit with campers in Australia.

Tent erection was quick and easy. After a few hours of light rain and breezy conditions the fly rear roof panel did touch the inner panel in a strip about 75mm wide by 750mm long. This caused water to bead inside along the strip but it did not fall on to bedding. It was not condensation as tent was empty at the time and inner vents were open. Where fly touched the ridge and spreader pads it seemed dry on de-erection the next day. A fair weather tent.

Used this on a recent trip to mt Beauty. Was very happy at the ease of setting up and packing down. Great design with the windows at either end to allow cross ventilation. Whilst I wasn’t on powered site, there’s a handy tab to allow a power cord into the tent. Handy pockets allows for easy storage of phone and keys. Small hook inside the ceiling allows for you to hang a torch lantern. A bright red tab on one corner allows you to correlate that with a bright red tab on the fly, so you always get the orientation right, very well thought out.

Just like many other reviewers have commented, the fly touches the tent and causes condensation/leaks - and this is when it is set up correctly. It’s a major design flaw in an otherwise great tent. I have used cut-up pool noodles as spacers to lift the fly off the tent and this seems to have helped. Disappointed to have to use a hack to make the tent function properly.
