Getting this phone for Christmas 2017 was a huge improvement over my Moto G3. The Moto G3 only has an internal memory of 8 Gb's whilst the LG Tribute HD's is double that at 16 Gb's, which means more space for apps. It also holds a microSD card up to 64 Gb's, whilst the Moto G3's limit is only 32 Gb's. I've tried a Samsung 128 Gb's microSD card from Wallyword (Walmart) in it, but it refused it. But the extra 32 Gb's or memory was worth the upgrade from the Moto G3 since I'm a music nut. Not to mention, LG phones are known for requiring less battery power then either the Motorola's or the Samsumg's, which means you can use a standard 5 Volt, 1 Amp charger, instead of the larger 2.4 amp ones. Anyway, I love this phone and I love TextNow.com's service. It's been a very affordable way for my family to keep in contact with me. My prior service was a government assistance lifeline phone from Safelink Wireless. Then, in his last years of office, President Obama decided to backstab those of us who live with and take care of our parents by caving into the sorry arse Republicans who wanted to kick us all off the food stamp programme and force us to have to go back into the workforce. This would be fine with me, if I didn't have an ailing mother and a legally blind and deaf brother to take care of. But as a consequence of my mom's support for Donald Trump and her and my brother's doctors' unwillingness to write me out a note stating that my mom and brother needed to have a 24/7 caregiver for the food stamp people, I told mom that if she wants to continue to be able to get a hold of me at a moment's notice, that she would now have to pay my TextNow monthly cell phone bill, since she threw her support behind the party that kicked me off the food stamp programme and took away my lifeline cell phone benefit in the process. Otherwise, I'd just soon not even carry a cell phone for the sake of not being bothered when I'm out and about. Let's just say that it's been a good arrangement so far since I now have an affordable smart phone, which is something I didn't have on the lifeline programme from Safelink.
