“I gave the Rega P6 a 5* rating, but it was hard to do so. Why? On the face of it, it just seems wrong to have a turntable that weights so little. Surely, the more expensive you want to sell your turntable, the heavier it has to be? Not a bit of it. Light, is the new heavy. The P6 sparkles and wants to move the music along not weigh it down. My 80' pop/alt music has come back to life. CD and streaming always gives the sound an overly clinical sound - sure it suits the electronic nature, but the warmth and rhythm never appeared - not until now. The P6 ensures you want to keep listening, rather than saying, "nice, but that's enough now". I think running it through the Elicit-R is the perfect combination.”
