“As expected the 552 takes some time to hit its fullest stride but even out of the box was a noticeable leap up from the 252. With a month or so's now use under its belt the sound is opening out and providing fantastic levels of depth, clarity, detail and enjoyment. A 552 sits particularly well with the ND555. A 552 is an expensive item and quite a jump financially as well as sonically from a 252, and I hung back for a while before committing to one. Absolutely no regrets about it now, it's still revealing more as it settles in and the music it creates is a level up from what went before. I love it.”
