“Andy mentioned that “in due course” I might like to look at improving the Ethernet cable from my EE8 switch to my Selekt streamer. Jack kindly leant me the Sigma to try out, and all I’ll say is I ordered one the next day. Yes it is expensive, but having discussed the whole system and future upgrades, it made sense that over the long term, it is more cost effective to push the boat out on interconnects, which also allows my Selekt to show just how good it is. If anybody thinks cables don’t matter, just ask Jack to lend you one and see for yourself!”

“Nooooooo, it shouldn’t work, or be that good. It is. Bought to connect a Bartok with an Innuos server after a home demo. Any cat 6 cable should be ideal, and do exactly the same job. Nope. With this cable, staging opens up, clarity increases and imaging gets more accurate. The audible difference between this and my old cable ( good quality certified cat6 UTP) was not subtle. Quality is excellent, and as always, brilliant service from Audiobarn - thanks.”

“I did my research and decided to purchase Shunyata Sigma ethernet cable based on the reviews and recommendations from Audiobarn. I am extremely happy with the purchase. The most noticeable difference is the quiet background and separation of instruments. All of the sudden the music flows without any digital nastiness. I highly recommend it if there is no budget constraint.”
