“Purchased at the same time as Naim amplification and an English Electric 8 switch. Really good Demo (Thanks to Andy Holt, Audiobarn). Showed a notable improvement when the Shunyata replaced the existing ethernet, with all other elements the same - ie amp, speakers and EE8 switch. I would describe the differences as a significant reduction in 'background distraction". The music was much clearer and seemed to 'stand out' from the background more - in essence greater contrast. A repeat when installing the other purchases at home only reinforced this and led me to make the purchase. I surprised myself by buying this lead. I was initially sceptical whether this would make a difference but I could not deny it was a large improvement. The skill of a good demo is to illustrate a change and leave the customer to decide whether they feel the cost is worth it. In my case, I am lucky enough to be able to afford it but I would certainly have felt I was missing out if I hadn't included it with my other purchases. In summary a great product that I would never have considered if not for the knowledge and equipment range of a great dealer. Win all round. Ian”
