“Spending serious money on an internet streaming cable initially seemed counter intuitive. I mean, it’s digital and it only runs from the wall socket or switch to your streamer after the signal has already run down inferior cable or worse still, the mains. Rubbish in, rubbish out - right? Wrong. I listened extensively over WiFi, then to a cheap off the shelf cable and to two high end audio Ethernet cables kindly loaned by the Audiobarn at different price points. The Chord Sarum T was the most (eye watering) expensive but clearly sonically a far superior cable producing a musically refined, nuanced and very detailed soundstage. I found myself hearing and appreciating lyrics which were not quite clear previously. Everything else sounded rough by comparison. Prices start at 2.1k£ for one metre (which is why I gave it four not five stars) but if you are lucky enough to own a high end streamer I strongly recommend you at least give it a try.”
