“Purchased to replace a Naim UnitiQute 2 for headphone listening, and undoubtedly a significant step up, both directly and by supporting a transition to a balanced cable connection for my Sennheiser 800S headphones. Notable improvements include openness, soundstage and sheer clarity whilst avoiding any sense of edginess. The Audiobarn team provided their usual excellent audition facilities and a complete lack of any sales pressure, creating a relaxed and comfortable environment in which to make my decision. The Atom HE’s performance has been terrific out of the box and has continued to improve, and delight, throughout its running in period, a clear benchmark product.”
