Full disclosure - this is my first piece of Naim amplification. I had quite a variety of amps over the years, often from small volume manufacturers ans some quite high end, including Crimson Elektrik, Musical Fidelity, Robertson, DNM Audio and Krell. My DNM 2A pre-amp was beginning to give me the odd issue and I wanted something to partner my Krell KSA 50 and passive ATC SMC40 loudspeakers. The Naim New Classic range interested me, particularly as it seemed to allow non-Naim power amps to be used and the reviews seemed overwhelmingly positive. It is quite difficult to get to hear the Naim pre-amps with a Krell, so I took a chance and bought the Naim unheard. Which is something I never normally do! If I had concerns, I needn't have worried. The 332 works brilliantly with my Krell and ATCs. Loads of detail, great soundstage, both delicacy and slam, regardless of the source used. I mainly use a Naim NDX2 streamer with XPS DR power supply and the results are very pleasing. I'm listening to a lot more music and watching a lot less TV. Build quality is excellent as you would expect from Naim, and it's very easy to use. I should make special mention of the volume control - super smooth in operaton with sensible increments and easy to see across the room. I like the dimmable lighting too. It's a great amp and I'm enjoying what it does very much.

I replaced my Nac 282 with the new Nac 332. The new Nac 332 is definitely a step up from my old 282. Instruments have a more realistic sound. From the ringing of electric guitar strings to the snap of a drum stick on the rim of a snare drum. Overall sound is more full bodied and there is a more room filling sound. To really hear these differences I am finding that the volume needs to be near the 12 O'clock position, which is not really feasible with a party wall into my neighbours front room. I am only able to play the Nac 332 around the 10 O 'clock position so not all the improvements can be heard easily. I have had the Nac 332 for three weeks and I can say that it sounds better everyday so far.

The NSS333/NAC332/NAP350 *2/NPX300*2 System replaced a NDX2/ NAC282/NAP250DR/Supercap DR system. Very happy with the upgrade, some music on the old system was harsh sounding. This has all gone with the 300 series can highly recommend. Plus the new kit having a standby setting does noticeably reduce power consumption.
