“The Tonmeister amp is for me the long term amp I've always wanted. Yes, I know we all say that and end up buying more equipment but for me it makes every listening session special. I was able to demo three Audio Note amps and whilst all sounded brilliant, this one to me fantastic. It has everything I need in an amp and matches beautifully with the Lina Dac and clock (also purchased at Audiobarn). My system now demands your attention, very hard to be reading or browsing when listening as it draws you in and doesn't let go. At Steve Guttenberg said the biggest improvement you can make to your system is to just listen to it without distraction, I agree and know I'll be spending many happy ours listening to this amp.”

“Meishu Tonmeister Phono Silver Lovely fuss free amp in day to day use with fabulous sound. Totally silent in operation. I demo’ed over lock down 10hrs a day; CD’s during the day at lower levels and LPs into the evening, it never faltered with anything I chucked at it. 300B’s are always considered glorious in the mid range, but this amp seems to have added a lovely top end and gripping bass response: all very natural, not at all soft or “Valvey” Cons: Big box, low feature list: Volume, Balance, Selector and Tape Monitor is all you get, 8watts per channel (working beautifully with AN-J’s), no balanced connectors, MM only, can’t see the pretty valves! Pros: Sonic magic Initial valve compliment works fine but can be bettered easily, I dutifully burnt them in for the 200hr run in time. then swopped the smaller valves for some NOS, things get better still. Demo this.”
