“All streamers sound the same, eh? Well, that is what I was hoping, but alas, this blew my preconceptions out of the water. In comparison to my Bluesound, it is playing in a completely different ballpark, as long as the rest of your kit can match its resolution. The app is very fast, shame it only works on Apple devices though. It can also upsample up to 384K, which is a nice bonus if your dac can take it. Did try the other brands in this price range, but I just preferred this for its clarity and control. The slim width also helps fit into spaces you might otherwise have trouble with. The additional power supply does change the sound, and if you use bog standard power cables, I would say certainly an improvement, otherwise compare with and without, as I found without was better with a just good power cable.”

“Excellent streamer with a solid and stable UI using the Auralic Lightning DS App. Setup was easy and both its USB and AES outputs sound excellent on my DAC.”
