“I love this cartridge on my Rega 50th Anniversary P3, I loved the sound with the supplied Exact but this NDd7 is on another level. The soundstage is much wider, the bass is richer and my LPs sound amazing, well at least to my ears they do. I was going to go with the Nd5 but thought for the extra £150 may as well get the best Rega offers for a MM cartridge, very pleased with this life choice”

“I’ve owned a Rega P6 turntable and Exact cartridge for 2 years and enjoyed playing new and old vinyl albums, especially after having them all ultrasonically cleaned. I found the sound pleasing most of the time but on some tracks it seemed the Exact somehow lost control at the bass end, something not evident when playing the same music via hi-res streaming. On my system the sonic improvement between the Exact and ND7 is so obvious, I describe it as ‘laugh out loud good’ as that is exactly how I feel when playing music I know well! I was expecting a subtle improvement but this really is ‘next level’. It’s not just the bass control on some tracks that is now resolved, everything else just sounds ‘more real’ and clear with superior separation. I never wanted to venture into moving coil territory due to the extra cost of pre-amp and Ania/Ania Pro, so I’m thrilled with the ND7 at its price point.”
