“When I first heard Alpha V2 I was struck by how much extra detail there was at the top end. In contrast on first installing Alpha X it was the added detail at the mid to bottom end. Some have commented that bass became enhanced but the reality is there is just generally more definition between individual instruments. Bass is not deeper but it is as if a veil has been lifted and is more clearly defined and realistic - particularly drums.”
