“Waste of money and more importantly time. I ordered a $999, 24 hour express repair, (price has now been upped, and so has repair time since two weeks ago when i got screwed and lied to). Requested CPC fixed for a Freightliner Cascadia. Sent it in on Monday via overnight Fedex. It was received by ECU pro by 3 pm on Tuesday. When ordering it via express service, it sounds as if you’d get it back Wednesday, or at the very latest Thursday. Well I got it back Friday. So now 24 hours has turned into 5 days. BTW, I’ve inquired, and it takes less than an hour to diagnose, repair or copy settings to a CPC. But I digress! Wait! There’s more! After plugging in the device, it came up with a completely different set of codes. I contacted Dan I believe, and he stated that this would have to be cleared via DDDLink, supposedly couldn’t copy settings to CPC. OK. There goes another $175 to Freightliner shop to clear it. Drove it the next day, and a Christmas light show came up on the dashboard with the same code, plus additional 5 faults. Kept having to pull over every 50 miles or so, unplug batteries, wait 10-15 minutes and drive another 40-50 miles before it happened again, and finally got it home and to Freightliner shop. Just got it out the shop yesterday. They installed a new CPC, programmed it and charged me close to $2800. I informed Dan about this a few days back, and he stated to send him the old CPC back and he’d refund me the money. That’s hilarious, considering that i had to give this garbage CPC to Freightliner as a core, so i will not be seeing any of my funds back, and I’m sure they’ll come up with some excuse where this was somehow my fault. So be aware of these folks when it comes to turnaround time and knowledge of heavy duty trucks. You’ll waste money and end up spending much more. Take it directly to the manufacturer and pay the $2800 - it’s cheaper! This was a loss of five days of work, plus $999 for NO service, $175 in Freightliner diagnostics and $82 in Fedex shipping. Total of $1256 down the drain. I’d say shame on you, but whoever is willing to lie and cheat folks out of that much money, has no shame.”
