“I wouldn't normally respond to an unsolicited request to review a recently-purchased item,
but in this case I will depart from my normal practice.
I have three rooms - small, medium-size and large which need heating. For various reasons,
portable electric heaters are the only sensible solution - oil-filled electric radiators, in fact..
Logically therefore, I need three heaters with small, medium and large heat output. I also
require common functionality, and design/appearance, including a timer which will allow
selection of several on/off periods over a 24-hour cycle.
This range of heaters (1.5kW, 2.0 kW and 2.5kW) was the ONLY range I could find which
satisfied these criteria so I bought three - one of each size. The heaters warm up very
quickly, and so far I am highly pleased with my purchase of these three heaters.
This range is not the cheapest, but it is also not the most expensive and I regard it as
very reasonably priced.
For what it's worth, NONE of the well-known manufacturers/suppliers, (including large
store 'own-brand' models) supply heaters which meet my requirements. In fact the
models/ranges which they offer all seem to have different functions and appearance for
different heat outputs - even to the extent of having digital timers on some models and
analogue timers on others (supposedly in the same range). Unacceptable - to me at least!”
