“Sitting in this is like being welcomed to a big “hug” of comfort! The extra wide “side arms” easily allow for stretching out your arms and resting them ( not just your wrists and hands). Plus, these wide arms will easily balance a book, magazine, or coffee mug, if you so choose. Try sitting “ crossways” w/your tablet ( or book), and then for sure you’ll know you bought the best chair for comfort and versatility! My brothers love it too, as w/ the ottoman, they say it’s beats their recliners! ( now that’s a statement!) In terms of decorating style, one could go anywhere from contemporary to Asian, or, blend in w/antique furniture w/the right choice of pillows ( like I’ve done.) I have antique mahogany chairs w/rose antique velvet, and I can’t believe how well the styles merge. Note: chair is wider than a conventional sitting chair; but the width can be shortened ( if so desired), by a firm pillow. This is what makes it great ( + so versatile!) for guests just popping by for a short visit. If you Re looking for a very comfortable, versatile chair, be sure to try it out at the store~~ that’s how I discovered it!”
