Read The Green Reaper Reviews

Providing one of the safest and easiest ways to cut logs, the Mitox saw horse features a useful chainsaw holder and offers excellent value for money.  The strong clamp holds the chainsaw in place by the guide bar so you can safely cut logs to consistent lengths quickly and with only one hand.  The saw chain is covered by a protective guard which allows you to hold the log securely in place with your free hand.  The Mitox saw horse with chainsaw holder is equipped with extra wide hinged feet for added stability on any surface, together with an adjustable stop for evenly cut lengths.  Constructed of galvanised steel for rust protection and long life, it folds flat for easy transportation and compact storage.NB: Chainsaw not included.

Diagram and instructions a little vague but assembled in under an hour using the picture on the box! took it slow as other reviews implied pit falls. Changed the eye locking bolts with M10 and M12 levers much better. Downside Chainsaw has to be removed for topping up, would have been nice to be able to flip it on its side once the saw is clamped in position, its a shame to have to set it up again when filled up( am working a on a mod, maybe just tipping the bench on it side is the simplest but just not me!). Care needs to be taken to avoid the saw touching the cover when it flips down . But all in all it works and am very pleased.

Once this was all put together I found it really useful and well worth the money. Along the way I experienced a few rough edges (literally) - A foolish person looking at the images might think that the chain saw is included (you could make it clearer that it is not) - If found the assembly a bit tricky .. some of the brazed on nuts were misaligned so it was hard to screw the bolts into them. I got the impression that someone before me had given up on the self assembly and sent it back. However once it was all assembled I found it a breeze to cut large logs for the fire- which rescued my reputation as a handy man at Christmas. All this outweighs the problems above. Thank-you!!
