“I should have known once I saw it was bagged like that ( i don't buy local with the same bag). I processed a little anyway because I thought it would be basically your fabulous green chile but sun dried. I was so disappointed. it was EXTREMELY bitter and very dark (looked like mole). I threw it all away. Your green chile came in beautiful and fresh. I will continue to purchase the green going forward. The red, no. Sorry...”

“Mistakes happen as it did with my order. I ordered 2 lbs of the chili pods and received 5 jars of green chili. I called Hatch right away and spoke to Daniel who said he would ship my correct order out ASAP. He also said to keep the jars of green chilis. I received the red chili pods a few days later. I appreciate the way Daniel handled the situation and love the green chilis and the red pods. I am already making some Carne Adovado and will use some of the green to make green chili stew and my favorite casseroles and breakfast burritos. I am addicted to Hatch chili! Thanks to all those at Hatch.”

“Unlike a few other companies I've ordered from in the past, both my 16oz packages of hot, dried red chile pods arrived fresh, not old brittle peppers left over from the previous year. You will never be disappointed with any chile products from the Hatch Chile Store, whether freshly picked or dried. I look forward to making delicious batches of red chile sauce which I will freeze for this following year. The Hatch Chile Store is an excellent source for the New Mexican chile many of us adore but now have to acquire through the mail. They provide the best quality products in a timely fashion, and they always stand by the items they sell. Thank you!!!”

“The order came as I expected and was surprised that it did not take long once it was sent off from the company. I am from New Mexico and miss Hatch chile. I am glad that I can order it directly from Hatch and arrival time is excellent.”
