“The chile was good but I think it's a shame how much you charge! I grew up in New Mexico and a sack of chili is 35 fir whole sack you charge 70 dollars for 5 lbs.”

Hi Roslyn, Thanks for your feedback. We can assure you that we are offering the best price possible on our frozen foods such as Roasted Hatch Green Chile. From the packaging to the shipping costs, shipping perishable items on dry ice is expensive. We mitigate this cost by using distribution centers throughout the country. We also do all of the roasting, peeling, and packaging. We hope this helps you understand that our price is not artificially inflated and is necessary for a small business like ours to be able to offer a high-quality, perishable product. “the box was damaged/torn open. the chilies arrived unfrozen. there was not any dry ice in the package. I was looking forward to eating the chilies, but now I cannot. it was mentioned that a new order would be shipped out to me. I have been waiting 2 weeks now. there has not been any correspondence as to when the new order will be shipped. thanks !!!!”

“Ordering and the delivery of the medium green chilies were exceptional which warrants the 3 rating. However, the chilis were very mild with virtually no spice whatsoever. Very disappointing and seemingly nonexistent in my favorite green chili recipes.”
