“Guys, I have to be honest. The chiles arrived promptly and in good still frozen condition. We used one bag of the frozen chiles within the next two days and then discarded the remainder. Rather than medium heat I would say they were less than mild, slimey, not much flavor, and were hard not to tear apart. We used them in an egg caserole breakfast and then for rellenos. My wife did not get along with them for twenty hours after eating. I cannot believe this is representative of your product. I thought we would wait for the new crop and try again with fresh chiles. Sorry... We also ordered one bottle each of the five salsas and sauces. These were much better by smell and small tastes and we will be using them over the next few months. We were wise to order one mild and one hot green chile sauce and found the 50/50 blend right for us. Can't wait to get into the red sauces over the upcoming months when fiery stuff works best.”

Karly, Green chile is always "juicy" when defrosted but should not be "slimy". Anytime you think there has been in-transit spoilage, please contact us immediately so we can re-ship the order. We definitely stand by our products and want to make sure they are both enjoyable and don't disagree with your constitution. That being said, green chile does disagree with some people's stomachs! I'll have the original order re-shipped. We'll send hot this time since you didn't think the medium-hot had enough heat. We do have a note up on the medium-hot which indicates that it is running a little mild. I'm sorry if you missed that... Thanks, Preston

“About this shop: Arrived perfectly roasted, peeled, frozen, and packed. Still some dry ice left by the time it arrived! About Hatch chiles: Everyone must try Hatch chiles at least once. They're delicious and have a flavor that no other chile can beat.”
