“I was never able to try the hatch red & green chili roast as the glass bottle was shipped separately in nothing but a paper envelope. The post office delivered it and the glass bottle was shattered upon arrival. Not sure why this shipping method was used for glass as a box would have provided more protection.”

Your jar was bubble-wrapped, but unfortunately, sometimes USPS is a little rough with packages. Is there anything else we can do for you?
