“The pods were delivered in good shape. I used them all at once in a fairly big batch with my standard recipe. I added all the standard stuff, a couple of the little cans of hatch green chiles, half an onion, half a can of diced tomatoes, some cilantro, garlic, and other spices. Everything seemed to come out okay, but the resulting sauce has a strange tangy vinegary sub-taste to it that I never got before. Not sure what happened. The sauce seems to have less heat than I expected, but that's okay. We will use some tonight (Friday is mexican food night) and see how it works out. Hopefully nobody will get sick.”
