“Great heat! My family knows when it is hot because it makes me hiccup and I love it!!! The flavor reminded me of growing up in New Mexico and was so awesome we ordered 25 .lbs more before the season ends.”

“Preordered my chilies and they arrived rotten and moldy. Make sure to pay extra for shipping if you want them even though they don't guarantee they will be good. I payed for the chilies now out that money and have to buy again if I want to have any.”

Hi Dana, We have pretty clear guidelines on our shipping page as to what services we guarantee. You opted for ground, which states that it may spoil in transit. Many customers have OK results with ground, so we provide it as an option to our customers with that warning. There is also a pop-up that you have to click through warning customers against opting for anything less than 2-Day Air if they are going to order fresh chile for shipment. It looks like one of our customer service representatives offered you another box for free if you would be willing to cover the cost of shipping. It does not look like you ever got back to us. We then emailed you again about a month later saying the offer did still stand, we never heard back from you. We would love to make this experience better for you. “This is an annual tradition, take a southwest trip to Hatch, N.M. or order on line. On line works...roast, clean, cook, repeat! That's how it's done. Hot, tasty and delicious with all foods. If it isn't hatch chile - it's just another chile!!!”
