“Very disappointed. These chiles shouldn’t have been sold. I would’ve gladly waited for a quality batch. They seemed like they weren’t ready to be picked right off the bat. They were absolutely unable to be roasted and peeled properly. I reached out for a refund and was offered a discount on my next order, and then I was completely ignored. All I got was 25 pounds of chile skins in the end. Spent all day trying different ways to roast and peel them. Product was not as advertised.”

“I sent my out of my state family chili. We usually go to a chili stand by us and buy then ship it ourselves. Found Hatch chili site and saw they picked fresh and then shipped directly made me choose here instead. Local chili stands never give the full bushel. So price was not more than I would have paid for chili that was picked weeks ago and sitting in our heat. Order shipped on day I was told it would and was delivered next day. So happy I chose this way or sending chili to my loved ones. I may send myself some next year.”

“The chili arrived on time and in excellent condition. Living in Central Texas (DFW area) we don’t have chili toasters on every corner during harvest season, so this was our best option this year. I love the smell of fresh roasted chili, if it weren’t for that I’d probably buy the chili that’s already roasted and peeled as roasting them on a BBQ grill is labor intensive. So if you don’t have a roasting basket and a weed burner I’d suggest getting them already done for you. The HOT chili is rather hot, my wife prefers mild so we mix them as a compromise. Awesome chili y’all!!!!”
