“These were a dream to roast! Neighbors came out to ask what deliciousness we were grilling! We are planning to have our first green chile chicken enchiladas with some of this batch on Wednesday. I have no doubt they will rank among the very best GCCE's ever!”

“The wait for harvest was long but well worth the wait! We live in Georgia and were raised in New Mexico so I miss my Hatches green chili. My husband prefers the Sandia chili and I prefer a little more mild. Love the service we received and will order again. Looking at website for more of your products!”

“A lot of red, but I did choose ground shipping against Company rec was sad while following package stalled 1 1/2 miles from house ( Labor Day) for 4 days”

Hi Leitar, I'm sorry that you had a bad experience here and, after pulling up your order, I can see why. We have pretty clear guidelines on our shipping page as to what services we guarantee. You opted for ground, which states that it may spoil in transit. Many customers have OK results with ground, so we provide it as an option to our customers with that warning. There is also a pop-up that you have to click through warning customers against opting for anything less than 2-Day Air if they are going to order fresh chile for shipment. Ground trucks are often 120-130 degrees as they transit from city to city during the daytime and this causes the chile to shrivel and spoil much, much quicker than it does when transported in a plane. While I can't offer you a refund, I CAN give you 50% off a replacement order if you opt for the guaranteed shipping methods that we offer. Let us know if you would like to take us up on the offer!
